Chrissy and Lauren, two innocent lovers-bloggers, must fight not only the Cretins, mutants and monsters but also the evil Tromorganic Foodstuffs Conglomerate. Welcome to Tromaville High School where, unfortunately, the glee club has mutated into a vicious gang of Cretins. The film is in the same vein as other classics such as Class of 1984, Rock “˜n’ Roll High School, and Carrie, but seen through the unique vision of Lloyd Kaufman and the Troma Team. 1 & II is a satirical sci-fi comedy event film with themes ripped straight from today’s headlines: the contamination and degradation of the world’s food supply, rampant bullying, and love triumphing over prejudice. Here is the official plot synopsis for Return, according to Troma’s website:
Giger), Luther the Geek, Troma’s War (featuring the first – and so far only, thank heavens – action movie villain with AIDS-spurting pustules), Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead, and any of the studio’s four head-crushing Toxic Avenger adventures starring the first superhero from the state of New Jersey that helped Troma become the powerhouse of indie schlock extravaganzas it remains more than four decades after it was first opened! Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D., Terror Firmer, Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (starring young Billy Bob Thornton), Killer Condom (creature design by H.R. If you doubt my words then you have obviously never seen Sgt. New York-based Troma has built a sterling reputation in the entertainment industry by bringing the world some of the vilest, crudest, goriest, sexiest, and most disgusting low-budget sci-fi, horror, and action movies ever made. Studio head Lloyd Kaufman, who has directed many of Troma’s best-known movies, returns to serve as director, and judging by the trailer will also make his customary cameo bow. Mark Neveldine, the co-director of the Crank movies, Gamer, and most recently Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, is looking to appear in this latest Troma-tic endeavor. Set to appear in Return are such Troma mainstays as Debbie Rochon, porn movie legend Ron Jeremy, and hard rock god Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead (the photo above shows him in the film as President Lemmy). You can check out a poster and teaser trailer for the movie here below. I & II, the fourth movie in the studio’s other most successful franchise that kicked off in 1986 and has become one of many bona fide cult classics to endure throughout the years, is coming to theaters soon and bringing a star-studded cast (for a Troma movie) with it.
This year Troma Films, purveyors of some of the most unhinged B-movies to melt the innards of many a VCR, is preparing to unleash its biggest movie made yet, a depraved epic bound to offend every special interest group on Earth and maybe even a few on distant planets that is so huge it has to be split into two parts, Kill Bill style.
